Face it, Baby Boomers might control 70% of the money in America but most of us are never going to be able to afford a Porsche or a Ferrari.
It’s a sad fact to have to face up to, but it’s there nonetheless.
Exotic cars are out of reach for most Baby Boomers but the allure is strong.
Imagine sliding into the leather cockpit of your Lamborghini and flying around curves with the wind in your hair and the sun on your face.
You have your driving gloves, you have your sunglasses, the only thing you don’t have is enough money for a Lamborghini.
But what if you didn’t have to own the Lamborghini or Lotus to be able to drive it around those hairpin turns?
Exotic car rental is a great way to try out the high-powered sports or luxury car of your dreams without selling your house or stealing one from one of your Baby Boomer friends.
More and more car rental companies, especially in wealthier areas, are starting to specialize in exotic car rental, and even regular, airport car rental companies like Hertz and Enterprise are starting to rent out exotics or at least rent luxury cars along with the standard economy and touring cars.

Though exotic car rental is usually a little more expensive than renting a Camry at the airport, it’s always a lot more memorable.
Exotic car rentals also make great gifts; some rental agencies, which rent exotics, also rent classic cars, so you could give your dad or uncle the ride of his dreams in a vintage Corvette or brand new Ferrari. It’ll go over a lot better than the set of golf clubs or tie clip you were considering as an alternative.
